“The general aim of this project is to encourage people to know what they are doing with their incomes, and stand against consumerism”
Description: This is a free spread sheet application capable to store data about your personal finances. It is very safe because you can keep it into your own drive, it is not online and it does not contain any macro or code that could harm you computer or data. This small application provides a monthly view of your financial situation using only the data you input in it. It also can allow you to make projection by using simple average formulas. Please distributed freely among friends and family, and please do not try to make business out of it. This application does not violate any law or restriction of any country. It is strictly prohibited to try to sell this intellectual property. Purpose The application won't make you richer; it will just allow you to know what you are doing with your money, what are you expending in, and what you are earning. By knowing this, you will be able to handle your Incomes and Outcomes of money and take decisions about your financial future. It is a very simple financial assistant. Requirements This application need to be handled by Excel like program (not necessarily a MS Excel). Linux free version is recommended (www.OpenOfficce.org). Another important requirement or hint is to let you know that if you want the application to help you, you should maintain your data up-to-date. If you do not input data and dates, it will not be able to tell you anything about your personal finances. Use To use this application is very easy; the first thing you have to do is to create your own accounts in" Cash" and "Bank", or also used some of the examples accounts provided. Though they are limited, but it is very possible to make more. To input a register you have to type on the date on the tab "Cash " or "Bank ", select an account (previously created by you), and type the amount in the "Income" or "Outcome" column. If you for instance, created a new register using a Expense account, and typing the amount in the column Incomes, this registers will not be taken into consideration in the Balance tab. Bear in mind that all new month will automatically begin with the balance of the previous month.
